Anthony Prior
Anthony Eugene Prior (born March 27, 1970) is a former American football defensive back who played six seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings, and Oakland Raiders. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the ninth round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington State University and attended Rubidoux High School in Riverside, California. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs.
