Anthony Odunsi
Anthony Abayomi Odunsi (born July 17, 1992) is an American-born Nigerian professional basketball player who last played for the Manawatu Jets of the National Basketball League (NBL). High school and college career Born in Houston, Texas, Odunsi attended Travis High School in Fort Bend County, Texas, before playing his freshman season of college basketball at Utah in 2011–12. His sophomore season was spent at Tyler Junior College before his junior season at Albany was reduced to just five games due to injury, as he was received a redshirt as well as a waiver from the NCAA, allowing him to compete for Houston Baptist in 2014–15 and 2015–16. Professional career Coming out of college, Odunsi was drafted by the Canton Charge of the NBA G League, only to be waived by the team prior to the start of the 2016–17 season. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. Canton Charge
The Cleveland Charge are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Cleveland, Ohio, and are affiliated with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The team plays its home games at the Wolstein Center in downtown Cleveland. The franchise was founded in 2001 as the Huntsville Flight, based in Huntsville, Alabama, before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2005, where they were known as the Albuquerque Thunderbirds until 2010. After playing the 2010–11 season in suburban Rio Rancho as the New Mexico Thunderbirds, the franchise was purchased by the Cavaliers and relocated to Canton, Ohio, where they played as the Canton Charge through the 2020–21 season.
