Anthony Mix
Anthony Mix (born January 20, 1983) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Auburn. Mix has also been a member of the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. College career Statistics Mix, a Bay Minnete native, garnered national recruiting attention after compiling a high school career that saw him excel at wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive end. An all around athlete, he was also a gifted basketball player and track star before deciding to sign with Auburn to play football in the winter of 2001. 2002 Auburn Tigers Football Team
The 2002 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University in the 2002 NCAA Division I-A football season. Auburn, led by head coach Tommy Tuberville, finished with record of 9–4, including a 5–3 record in the Southeastern Conference. Following a disappointing 7–5 finish the previous season, the coaching staff of the 2002 Tigers featured two prominent new members. Bobby Petrino was hired as the new offensive coordinator, and Gene Chizik joined the staff as the Tigers' new defensive coordinator. Jason S. Campbell (born December 31, 1981) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Auburn. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Akron. Benjamin Ebenezer Obomanu (born October 30, 1983) is a former American football wide receiver. He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 7th round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Obomanu played college football for the Auburn Tigers. High school Obomanu attended Selma High School in Selma, Alabama, and was a letterman and a starter in football and basketball. Gbolahan Devin Aromashodu (born September 25, 1984) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Auburn. Aromashodu has also been a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, Washington Redskins, Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears. The 2005 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University in the 2005 NCAA Division I-A football season. Despite having four starters from the 2004 team selected in the first round of 2005 NFL Draft, Auburn finished the season with a 9–3 record, including a 7–1 record in the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers shared the SEC Western Division championship with LSU, but because the Bayou Bengals defeated Auburn 20–17 in overtime on October 22, the Tigers did not advance to the SEC Championship Game. 2005 NCAA Division I FBS Football Season
The 2005 NCAA Division I-A football season was the highest level of college football competition in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The regular season began on September 1, 2005 and ended on December 3, 2005. The postseason concluded on January 4, 2006 with the Rose Bowl, which served as the season's BCS National Championship Game. The USC Trojans and the Texas Longhorns finished the regular season as the only undefeated teams in Division I-A and consequently met in the Rose Bowl to play for the national title. The 2004 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University in the 2004 NCAA Division I-A football season. Auburn compiled a record of 13–0, winning the Southeastern Conference championship and finishing the season ranked #2 in both the AP Poll and the Coaches' Poll. Beginning the season ranked #17 in the AP poll and #18 in the Coaches' Poll, the Tigers were denied a berth in the BCS National Championship Game because they finished the regular season ranked #3 in the BCS rankings.
