Anthony Federico
Anthony Federico (born November 7, 1997) is a Canadian professional football defensive end for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Junior career Federico played for the Hamilton Hurricanes of the Canadian Junior Football League for two seasons after graduating from high school. While playing for the Hurricanes, he worked on his sports management diploma at Niagara College. University career After using a redshirt season in 2017, Federico played U Sports football for the Queen's Gaels from 2018 to 2021. He played in 23 games where he recorded 87 total tackles, including 34.5 tackles for a loss, 20.5 sacks, and one pass breakup. Professional career Hamilton Tiger-Cats Federico was selected in the second round, 17th overall, by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2022 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 9, 2022. Queen's Gaels
The Queen's Gaels (also known as the Queen's Golden Gaels) is the Athletics program representing Queen's University at Kingston in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Team colours are blue, red, and gold. The main athletics facilities include Richardson Memorial Stadium, the Queen's Athletics and Recreation Centre, Nixon Field and Tindall Field. Queen's teams have had a variety of successes both provincially and nationally. 2023 Hamilton Tiger-Cats Season
The 2023 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 65th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 73rd overall. The Tiger-Cats qualified for the playoffs for the fifth consecutive year following their week 17 win over the Calgary Stampeders. The BC Lions are a professional Canadian football team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Lions compete in the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL), and play their home games at BC Place.
