Lionsheart
Lionsheart are a British heavy metal band from New Forest, Hampshire, England, formed in 1990. Founded by Mark Owers and Stephen Owers, Lionsheart's early releases featured fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as a major player in the NWOBHM subgenre. The band found initial success in Japan. Lionsheart has released four studio albums and one live album. History Lionsheart was formed in the New Forest in 1990 by twin musicians Mark and Steve Owers, formerly of Fury and Touche. Faultline (musician)
Faultline is the musical alter ego of producer and artist David Kosten. Working under the name Faultline, Kosten produced the largely instrumental debut ''Closer, Colder'' and the follow up ''Your Love Means Everything'', which featured guest vocals from Coldplay's Chris Martin, The Flaming Lips, & R.E.M's Michael Stipe. Benjamin John Christophers (born 1969) is an English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. To date he has released five albums: the first two on Virgin Records' V2 label, the third on Cooking Vinyl and the two most recent on his own label, Rocketeer. He collaborated with French singer Françoise Hardy, for whom he wrote the song "La Folie ordinaire" released on her album "Tant de belles choses" in 2004. Rialto
The Rialto is a central area of Venice, Italy, in the ''sestiere'' of San Polo. It is, and has been for many centuries, the financial and commercial heart of the city. Rialto is known for its prominent markets as well as for the monumental Rialto Bridge across the Grand Canal. History The area was settled by the ninth century, when a small area in the middle of the Realtine Islands on either side of the Rio Businiacus was known as the , or "high bank". Eventually the Businiacus became known as the Grand Canal, and the district the Rialto, referring only to the area on the left bank. The Rialto became an important district in 1097, when Venice's market moved there, and in the following century a boat bridge was set up across the Grand Canal providing access to it. Rialto were an English rock band formed in London in 1997. They released their self-titled debut album in 1998, followed by their second and final album, ''Night on Earth'', in 2001. Their single "Untouchable" reached the top 20 in the UK Singles Chart. In the summer of 1998, Rialto became the first ever UK chart band to release a single exclusively through the internet. Despite finding favour with music critics, with ''Melody Maker'' anticipating "a fairytale future of Oasis-like proportions", the band were famously dropped by their label East West, a Warner Music Group imprint, a month before the release of their heavily promoted eponymous debut album, denting the group's chances of major commercial success.
