Antemas Award
Hajji Antemas (20 October 1923 – 21 December 1970) was an Indonesian entrepreneur. The Antemas Award (1974–92) was named after him. Biography Antemas was born in Amuntai, South Kalimantan, on 20 October 1923. He completed a junior high school education. In the 1950s Antemas was the head of Mastraco, an import and export company, which entered the film industry in 1957. The company owned the Cathay Jakarta cinema and a film company, Pan Asiatic Film. Over the next thirteen years he took a variety of roles, including chairman of the All-Indonesia Cinema Owners' Association (Gabungan Pengusaha Bioskop Seluruh Indonesia, or GPBSI), as well as secretary general of both the Indonesian Film Import and Distribution Union (Persatuan Impor dan Distribusi Film Indonesia, or PIDFI) and the National Film Council (Badan Musyawarah Film Nasional). Indonesian Film Festival
The Indonesian Film Festival (Indonesian: Festival Film Indonesia, 'FFI') is an annual awards ceremony organised by the Indonesian Film Board and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to celebrate cinematic achievements in the Indonesian film industry. During the festival, the ''Piala Citra'' winners are announced and the best Indonesian films of the year are presented. The awards ceremony was first held in 1955 as the Pekan Apresiasi Film Nasional (National Film Appreciation Week). It changed to Festival Film Indonesia in 1973. In 1986, the festival included awards for television movies with an award called ''Piala Vidia''. Taman Ismail Marzuki
Ismail Marzuki Park, (Indonesian: Taman Ismail Marzuki, TIM), is an arts, cultural, and science center located at Cikini in Jakarta, Indonesia. Taman Ismail Marzuki complex comprises a number of facilities including six performing arts theaters, cinemas, exhibition hall, gallery, libraries and an archive building. The complex is built on an 9 hectares land area, which was previously a zoo. TIM is named after Ismail Marzuki, one of Indonesia's most influential composers. ''Cinta Dalam Sepotong Roti'' (English: ''Love in a Slice of Bread'') is a 1991 Indonesian road film directed by Garin Nugroho. Garin Nugroho
Garin Nugroho Riyanto (born 6 June 1961) is an Indonesian film director. Biography Nugroho was born in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta on 6 June 1961. He was the fourth child of postal workers Soetjipto Amin and Mariah, who eventually had seven children. As a child, he attended an Islamic elementary school, later attending Catholic secondary schools. His father owned a lending library and enjoyed writing, leading Nugroho to start writing from a young age; he later quit writing because he felt his father to be too critical. He also enjoyed exploring, and would bathe in the Code River fed by the cold lahar runoffs from Mount Merapi; he notes that the sulfur, which was brought to the river by the lava, was good for his skin.
