Antasena-class Combat Boat
Antasena-class combat boat is a combat boat built by North Sea Boats and designed by LOMOcean Marine for the Indonesian armed forces. The manufacturer designated it as Combat Boat X-18 / CB X-18. Initially, this class of ships was developed from a tank boat program from a consortium consisting of PT Lundin (North Sea Boats), PindadPT LEN and PT Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering, with John Cockerill as the turret supplier. History and development Lundin first announced the tank boat concept in 2014. This concept was launched after the company succeeded in building a stealth warship called KRI Klewang. North Sea Boats is an international boat building company specialized in building craft for military, law enforcement, SAR, commercial, and high performance applications. The company has presence in Sweden, Singapore and Indonesia, with its headquarters located at Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia. North Sea Boats was founded in 2003 by John and Lizza Lundin as a trading name for PT Lundin Industry Invest. The Combat Boat 2010 also known as the "Stridsbåt NY" was a large coastal combat vessel designed to carry the SSG120 dual 120 mm mortar system in order to provide naval gunfire support to the Swedish Amphibious Forces. Development began in 2005 and progressed until specifications and blueprints were largely finished. NEMO (from "NEw MOrtar") is a single barrelled 120 mm remote-controlled mortar turret currently being developed by Patria Land Oy in Finland. It is a lighter version of the AMOS mortar system, which has been in use within the Finnish Defence Forces since 2013. The NEMO can be fitted to most APCs and also to smaller landing craft, such as the Finnish Jurmo-class landing craft or the Swedish CB90-class fast assault craft. Jurmo-class Landing Craft
The Jurmo-class landing craft is a type of military transport in use by the Finnish Navy. The manufacturer Marine Alutech designates it as Watercat M12. History The Jurmo was the result of modernisation in the Finnish Navy in the late 1990s. It was designed to replace the existing Uisko class landing craft. Its main purpose is landing and transportation operations for the Finnish Coastal Jaegers in all weather conditions. It has good maneuverability and can come to a full stop in only one ship length from top speed. Low draft makes it suitable for amphibious assault even in shallow waters.
