Anselmi Nurmela
Anselmi Mikael Nurmela (born 22 November 1996) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for OLS. Club career In 2016 Nurmela played 22 games for AC Oulu in the Finnish 1st Division Ykkönen before joining top division Veikkausliiga outfit Rovaniemen Palloseura. In 2017, Nurmela made 24 starts and five substitute appearances in the Finnish top division. In February 2018, Nurmela joined FC Flora in Estonia. With Flora Nurmela won the 2019 Estonian league title making 18 appearances and scoring two goals. International career On 24 March 2017, he made his debut with the Finland national under-21 football team in a friendly against Netherlands. Emmen () is a municipality and town of the province of Drenthe in the northeastern Netherlands. History A planned city, Emmen arose from several small farming and peat-harvesting communities which have dotted the province of Drenthe since the Middle Ages. Traces of these communities can still be seen in the form of the villages of Westenesch, Noordbarge and Zuidbarge: they have a separate history and layout but are surrounded by the suburbs and the center of Emmen. ''Ykkönen'' (Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. The 2019 Meistriliiga (known as A. Le Coq Premium Liiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 29th season of the Meistriliiga, the top Estonian league for association football clubs. The season began on 8 March 2019 and concluded on 9 November 2019. Nõmme Kalju were the defending champions. Flora won their 12th Meistriliiga title. Mika Nurmela (born 26 December 1971) is a Finnish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is the sporting director of Finnish Ykkönen club AC Oulu. His son Anselmi Nurmela is also a professional footballer. International Nurmela was capped 71 times for the Finland national team, scoring four goals.
