''AnnoZero'' was an Italian television talk show hosted by the Italian journalist Michele Santoro and was broadcast on Rai 2 from 2006 to 2011. Beatrice Borromeo was a collaborator on this show from 2006–2008. Journalist Marco Travaglio was a permanent guest on the show, which officially ended its run on 9 June 2011 with a last episode being shown on 28 June of that year. ''Donna'' Beatrice Borromeo Arese Taverna (born 18 August 1985, in San Candido) is an Italian journalist and fashion model. Born into an aristocratic family, she graduated from Bocconi University and Columbia University. She became a journalist for ''Il Fatto Quotidiano'', ''Newsweek'' and ''Daily Beast''. Michele Santoro (born 2 July 1951) is an Italian journalist, and television host and presenter. He also served till October 2005 as Member of the European Parliament for Southern Italy with the United in the Olive Tree list, part of the Socialist Group and sat on the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, being a substitute for the Committee on Culture and Education, a member of the Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and a substitute for the Delegation to the EU-Croatia Joint Parliamentary Committee. Rai Extra was an Italian television channel owned by RAI and broadcast on Digital terrestrial television in Italy. Initially the channel was called RaiSat Extra. But in 18 May 2010, when Rai rebranded all its channels, the name RaiSat was extinguished, and the channel was renamed Rai Extra. Marco Travaglio (; born 13 October 1964) is an Italian investigative journalist, writer and opinion leader, editor of the independent journal ''Il Fatto Quotidiano''. Biography Travaglio was born in Turin and earned a degree in history from the University of Turin. In 1992 he began to pursue journalism as a career. Rula Jebreal ( ar, رولا جبريل, he, רולא ג'בריל; born April 24, 1973) is a Palestinian foreign policy analyst, journalist, novelist and screenwriter with dual Israeli and Italian citizenship. She was a commentator for MSNBC. Early life and education Jebreal was born in Haifa, Israel, to Nigeria-born Sufi imam Othman Jebreal and Zakia, and grew up in Jerusalem. Her father was an imam and groundskeeper at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Her mother, who suffered from severe abuse in her childhood, committed suicide by walking into the sea and drowning when Jebreal was 5. She and her sister Rania were put into the Dar El-Tifel orphanage by their father, in 1978, until 1991.
