Annett Horna
Annett Horna (born February 4, 1987 in Magdeburg, Germany) is a German athlete who is best known as an 800 meter and 1500 meter runner for SV Halle. Life Her first success in the senior women division was her victory in the 2008 German Championships in the 4x400m relay with the relay team of TSV Bayer Leverkusen ( Caroline Dieckhöner, Maren Schott, Annett Horna, Sorina Nwachukwu; 3:40.94 min). The team was able to defend their title in 2009, 2010 and 2011. In 2008 and 2012, Horna won the German Championship with her club's 3x800m relay team. At the 2005 European Athletics Junior Championships in Kaunas (Lithuania) Horna finished in 8th place of the 800m race. She was eliminated in the semi-final of the 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics in Beijing, and in the first heat of the 2009 European Athletics Junior Championships in Kaunas, both times over the 800m distance. Leipzig

Half Marathon
A half marathon is a road running event of —half the distance of a marathon. It is common for a half marathon event to be held concurrently with a marathon or a 5K race, using almost the same course with a late start, an early finish or shortcuts. If finisher medals are awarded, the medal or ribbon may differ from those for the full marathon. The half marathon is also known as a 21K, 21.1K or 13.1 miles, although these values are rounded and not formally correct. A half marathon world record is officially recognised by the International Association of Athletics Federations. 2006 World Junior Championships In Athletics
The 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics is the 2006 version of the World Junior Championships in Athletics. It was held from 15 August to 20 August at the Chaoyang Sports Centre in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. The Championships were dominated by the host nation China, and Kenya. The United States showed a near complete domination in the relay events. Estonia won four gold medals; their first medals ever at the World Junior Championships. Kaunas

Magdeburg
