Annemarie Kleinert
Annemarie Kleinert-Ludwig (born 1 February 1947, Geseke) is a German writer and historian. She has taught history at the Free University of Berlin, Leibniz University Hannover, and the University of California, San Diego, and now works as a freelance writer. Her first book investigated the history of French women's magazines in the 18th and 19th centuries, up to 1848. Her second book was a biography of the prima ballerina Eva Evdokimova, who died in 2009. A subsequent work presented the history of the Berlin Philharmonic under conductors Herbert von Karajan to Simon Rattle, and has been translated into German and Japanese. She has written a number of scientific articles, and discovered previously unknown early works by the French author Honoré de Balzac. Geseke
''Geseke'' () is a town in the administrative district of Soest, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geography Geseke is situated approximately 12 km south-east of Lippstadt and 20 km south-west of Paderborn. The city is located at the Hellweg and B1. Further south in Steinhausen is the motorway that leads to the A44 (Dortmund-Kassel). In Ahden in Paderborn administrative district is the Paderborn / Lippstadt Airport. Eva Maria Evdokimova-Gregori (December 1, 1948 – April 3, 2009) was a Bulgarian-American ''Prima Ballerina Assoluta'' with the Royal Danish, Berlin Opera Ballets, English National Ballet and guest artist with virtually every major ballet company worldwide. Early life Born in Geneva, Switzerland to Evdokim Evdokimov, (1919-2008), a stateless Bulgarian father and an American mother, Thora Mary Hatten (1914-1991). Evdokimova, an American citizen from birth, began her ballet studies as a child in Munich. Sir Simon Denis Rattle (born 19 January 1955) is a British-German conductor. He rose to international prominence during the 1980s and 1990s, while music director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (1980–1998). Rattle was principal conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic from 2002 to 2018. He has been the music director of the London Symphony Orchestra since September 2017.
