Anne-Olaug Ingeborgrud
Anne-Olaug Ingeborgrud (28 April 1925 in Nes, Akershus, Nes – 17 March 2003) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party of Norway, Christian Democratic Party. She was elected to the Storting, Norwegian Parliament from Akershus in 1977, but was not re-elected in 1981. She had previously served as a deputy representative during the term 1973–1977. From 1983 to 1985, during the second cabinet Willoch, she was appointed State Secretary#Norway, State Secretary in the Norwegian Ministry of Church and Education, Ministry of Church and Education. On the local level she was a member of Nes, Akershus, Nes municipal council (Norway), municipal council from 1959 to 1971. She served as vice leader of the national party from 1985 to 1987. Outside politics she worked as a high school teacher. Nes is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Årnes. Name The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the old ''Nes'' farm (Old Norse: ''Nes'' which means "headland"), since the first church was built here. The actual ''nes'' is the headland made by the two great rivers Glomma and Vorma, which have their meeting point just south of the farm. Prior to 1889, the name was spelled ''"Næs"''. Coat-of-arms The coat-of-arms is from modern times. They were granted in 1988. The arms show three yellow logs (to represent forestry) on a green background (to symbolize youth and hope). Akershus () is a traditional region and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo.
