Annah Faulkner
Annah Faulkner (1949/1950 – 8 March 2022) was an Australian novelist. At the age of five, Faulkner moved with her parents to Papua New Guinea and later lived on Queensland's Sunshine Coast with her husband. She died in March 2022, after leaving a note arguing for more humane death laws permitting access to suicide for older Australians. Annah Gela is a South African politician of the African National Congress (ANC) who has been a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since May 2019. Background Gela completed a municipal management development programme at the University of Pretoria. She also fulfilled a community facilitation programme through the Siyakhula Trust. A member of the African National Congress, she served as its chief whip in the Westonaria Local Municipality from 2008 until 2016. Annah Mac is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, producer and musician. Her debut album, '' Little Stranger'' was released on the 5 September 2011, it was listed for seven weeks on the New Zealand Albums Top 40 Chart. The most successful single off the album was " Girl in Stilettos". The single was certified double platinum in New Zealand and was listed for 23 weeks on the New Zealand Top 40. Musical career Mac moved to Auckland at the age of 17 and signed a deal with Sony Music New Zealand in November 2009. In November 2011, Mac's single "Girl In Stilettos" was released and certified double platinum. The music video was funded by NZ On Air. Annah May Soule
Annah May Soule (September 5, 1859 – March 17, 1905) was a professor of American history and political economy at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Early life Annah May Soule was born in Port Huron, Michigan, and raised in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Major Harrison Soule and Mary E. Parker Soule. She had an older sister, Mary Eva Soule Clark (1857–1946). Harrison Soule was an officer in the Union Army during the American Civil War when Annah and her sister were small. After the war, he served as treasurer at the University of Michigan. Soule trained as a teacher at the state normal school in Ypsilanti, Michigan, then studied law, history, and economics at the University of Michigan, where she earned a bachelor's degree (1894) and a master's degree (1895). Her master's thesis work was published as two monographs, ''The International Boundary of Michigan'' (1895) and ''The Southern and Western Boundaries of Michigan'' (1896). Annah Robinson Watson (1848–1930) was an American author, the founding member and president of the Nineteenth Century Club, and a collector of American folklore. Early life Watson was born Annah Walker Robinson on the Taylor homestead, "Springfields", near Louisville, Kentucky, to Mary Louise Taylor Robinson and Archibald Magill Robinson., she was the granddaughter of Hancock Taylor, a brother of President Zachariah Taylor. Watson was described as a "romantic, poetic, imaginative child". After some years in the countryside, her family moved to Louisville, and Watson received an education there and later in Chicago. Annah, also known as Annah-of-the-Shadows, is a fictional character in the 1999 role-playing video game '' Planescape: Torment''. Created by Chris Avellone and voiced by Sheena Easton, Annah is a tiefling who joins the game's protagonist, The Nameless One as a party member. She has been overall very well received, and is perceived as one of the best female characters in the PC gaming of that era. Creation and conception According to the game's lead designer and writer, Chris Avellone, Annah and another ''Planescape Torment'' playable character Fall-From-Grace were inspired by Betty and Veronica from ''Archie'' comics, "embarrassingly enough." Ida Annah Ryan (1873–1950) was a pioneering United States architect known for her work in Massachusetts and Florida. She was the first woman to receive a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the first woman to receive a Master's degree in architecture anywhere in the United States. She was the eighth woman to be admitted to the American Institute of Architects. Anah or Ana ( ar, عانة, ''ʾĀna'', syr, ܐܢܐ), formerly also known as Anna, is an Iraqi town on the Euphrates river, approximately midway between the Gulf of Alexandretta and the Persian Gulf. Anah lies from west to east on the right bank along a bend of the river just before it turns south towards Hit.
