Anna Thammudu (1958 Film)
''Anna Thammudu'' () is a 1958 Telugu-language drama film, produced by Kadaru Venkateswara Rao under the Sri Raja Rajeswari Film Company banner and directed by C. S. Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Sowcar Janaki and Jaggayya, with music composed by Ashwatthama. Plot Madhava Rao (A. V. Subba Rao) & Nageswara Rao (Mukkamala) are a sibling. Madhav Rao leads a happy family life with his wife Shantamma (Malathi) and son Ravi (Master Balu) whereas Nageswara Rao is a spoilt brat that's why his brother has ostracized from the family. But when Madhava Rao is on his deathbed he returns, cleverly slaughters his brother, and grabs their property by cheating his sister-in-law. Sowcar Janaki
Sankaramanchi Janaki (born T. Janaki; 12 December 1931), popularly known as Sowcar Janaki (Tamil) or Shavukaru Janaki (Telugu) or Sahukar Janaki (Kannada), is an Indian actress who has appeared in over 300, films, predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages. Dasari Girija ( 3 March 1938 – 5 September 1995) was an Indian actress who has worked in Telugu films. She was active in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s in comic roles. Pillavalu Gajapathy Krishnaveni (3 November 1935 – 16 August 2004), more famously known as Jikki, was an Indian playback singer from Andhra Pradesh. She sang around 10,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Sinhalese languages. Early life Jikki was born in Chennai on 3 November 1935. Rāvūri Bharadvāja (1927 – 18 October 2013) was a Jnanpith award winning Telugu novelist, short-story writer, poet and critic. He wrote 37 collections of short stories, seventeen novels, four play-lets, and five radio plays. He also contributed profusely to children's literature. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. Madhavapeddi Satyam (11 March 1922 – 18 December 2000) was an Indian playback singer and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He entered films as a singer-actor in Y. V. Rao's Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie ''Ramadas'' in the year 1946, playing the role of Kabir. However, he became more popular as a playback singer due to his booming voice.
