"Anna Molly" is the lead single from Incubus's sixth album, '' Light Grenades''. The single was released September 20, 2006, on the Sony Music Store almost a month before its scheduled release. However, it was soon withdrawn for unknown reasons. The song debuted at #19 on the '' Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart and reached the #1 spot after 10 weeks on the chart. It stayed at the top for 5 weeks. The song makes use of a Marxophone, a type of fretless zither. The song's title is a play on the word "anomaly", and a Billboard article says the song describes "a woman who may or may not exist in real life". There is an acoustic version that is also available through iTunes. The song is included in the video games '' Guitar Hero: On Tour'' the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii edition of ''Shaun White Snowboarding'' as well as the documentary ''Warren Miller's Dynasty''. ''Light Grenades'' is the sixth studio album by alternative rock band Incubus, released on November 28, 2006, on Epic. The album sold 359,000 copies during its first week of release worldwide, and debuted at No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' 200, selling 165,000 copies in the US in its first week; it is the band's first number one album. However, until November 20, 2016, ''Light Grenades'' held the dubious honor of having the title of the biggest drop from No. 1 in chart history, falling to number 37. Incubus (band)
Incubus is an American Rock music, rock band from Calabasas, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer José Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex Katunich, Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich, and Gavin Koppell, Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppell; both of whom were replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and Chris Kilmore, DJ Kilmore, respectively. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. Edgefest
Edgefest was an annual outdoor rock festival in Canada. It was founded by staff members of Toronto radio station CFNY-FM. From 1987 to 2015, the festival was held every year in the summer (except for 2007). The festival was most frequently held on Canada Day at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario or a venue in Toronto. Jamie Thraves (born James Thraves, 2 June 1969 in Romford, London) is a British film writer and director. Biography Thraves began making early short experimental films in 1989 at the University of Humberside, having previously studied illustration. His graduation film ''Scratch'' (1991) and ''The Take-Out'' (1993), a short film made under the BFI New Directors scheme, both went on to win awards at film festivals worldwide.
