The program features late-breaking news stories, national weather forecasts and sports highlights. ''Good Morning America'' (often abbreviated as ''GMA'') is an American morning television program that is broadcast on ABC. It was first published on February 16, 1883, and eventually became one of the leading women's magazines of the 20th century in the United States.
