Ann Dupuis
Ann Dupuis is the owner of Grey Ghost Press and designer of a number of GURPS supplements. Career Dupuis began working as a game designer in 1991, first working on ''GURPS'' books for Steve Jackson Games. Dupuis also did some design work for TSR's ''Dungeons & Dragons'' game ('' Night Howlers'', the ''Poor Wizard's Almanac'' series, and ''Joshuan's Almanac & Book of Facts''). A bracket is either of two tall fore- or back-facing punctuation marks commonly used to isolate a segment of text or data from its surroundings. Steffan O'Sullivan
Steffan O'Sullivan is the author of several role-playing game books. Career Steffan O'Sullivan was a ''GURPS'' writer whose projects included ''GURPS Swashbucklers'' (1990) and '' GURPS Bunnies & Burrows'' (1992). He designed the ''FUDGE'' role-playing game system, first releasing it for free on the internet on December 7, 1993. His friend Ann Dupuis was interested in starting her own game company, and using ''FUDGE'' as her flagship game; O'Sullivan agreed, provided the game remain free and available on the internet, so Dupuis created Wild Mule Games and released a limited print edition of ''FUDGE'' in 1994. A dungeon is a room or cell in which prisoners are held, especially underground. Dungeons are generally associated with medieval castles, though their association with torture probably belongs more to the Renaissance period. An oubliette (from french ''oublier'' meaning to ''forget'') or bottle dungeon is a basement room which is accessible only from a hatch or hole (an ''angstloch'') in a high ceiling. Victims in oubliettes were often left to starve and dehydrate to death, making the practice akin to—and some say an actual variety of—immurement. Etymology The word ''dungeon'' comes from French ''donjon'' (also spelled ''dongeon''), which means "keep", the main tower of a castle. Mongoose Publishing is a British manufacturer of role-playing games, miniatures, and card games, publishing material since 2001. Its licenses include products based on the science fiction properties '' Traveller'', ''Judge Dredd'', and ''Paranoia'', as well as fantasy titles. Indie Press Revolution (also referred to as "IPR") is a sales network that acts as a fulfillment house for publishers of indie role-playing games. It was founded in 2004 by Ed Cha of Open World Press and Brennan Taylor of Galileo Games. IPR represents over 100 author/publishers involved in role-playing games. It offers games directly to the public and to game retailers. On June 17, 2010 DOJ, Inc. (which also owns Hero Games) announced that they have purchased a majority share of IPR. Brennan Taylor has stepped down as President and maintains a minority share.
