Anjo Buckman
Anjo Buckmann (born 1 March 1989) accessed: 24 March 2010 is a German List of Germany national rugby union players, international rugby union player, playing for the TSV Handschuhsheim in the Rugby-Bundesliga and the Germany national rugby union team, German national rugby union team. Biography Buckmann played in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 German championship final for Heidelberger RK, with the club winning all of them. He made his debut for Germany in a friendly against Hong Kong on 12 December 2009. Buckmann left the TSV Handschuhsheim at the end of the 2008-09 season to join the Heidelberger RK. He was part of a group of German players which were sent to South Africa in 2009 to improve their rugby skills at the Academy as part of the Wild Rugby Academy program. Centre (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Rugby-Bundesliga 2009–10
The Rugby-Bundesliga is the highest level of the league system for rugby union in Germany, organised by the German Rugby Federation. The league is predominantly amateur, with only one club in the league being officially a professional outfit, the Heidelberger RK. The German Rugby Federation (german: Deutscher Rugby-Verband or ''DRV'') is the governing body for rugby union in Germany.
