Anita Sood is a former national woman swimming champion of India. She became the fastest Asian swimmer to cross the English Channel The English Channel, "The Sleeve"; nrf, la Maunche, "The Sleeve" (Cotentinais) or ( Jèrriais), (Guernésiais), "The Channel"; br, Mor Breizh, "Sea of Brittany"; cy, Môr Udd, "Lord's Sea"; kw, Mor Bretannek, "British Sea"; nl, Het Kana ... with a time of 8 hours and 15 minutes on August 17, 1987, becoming the 333rd person to swim the channel.
