Anita Bulath
Anita Bulath (born 20 September 1983) is a former Hungarian handballer. Career Club She learned the basics of handball on the famous youth academy of Győri ETO KC, but she did not make any appearances for the team and in 1998 she was eventually transferred to Dunaferr. She made her senior debut in her new team in 2000, and won all possible domestic competitions during her spell at the club (3 championship, 2 cup titles). Her excellent performances caught the eyes of many major clubs and finally FCK Håndbold managed to secure her services. However, she left the club just after one season to join Zdravko Zovko-led Podravka Koprivnica. She became an important member of her new club, having achieved a back-to-back triumph both in the Croatian Championship and Croatian Cup in 2008 and 2009. Dunaújváros
Dunaújváros (; also known by other alternative names) is an industrial city in Fejér County, Central Hungary. It is a city with county rights. Situated 70 kilometres (43 miles) south of Budapest on the Danube, the city is best known for its steelworks, which is the largest in the country. It was built in the 1950s on the site of the former village of Dunapentele and was originally given the name of Sztálinváros before acquiring its current name in 1961. European Handball Federation
The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. History EHF was founded on 17 November 1991 in Berlin, Germany, although the first EHF Congress convened on 5 June 1992 and assigned EHF's headquarters to Vienna, Austria from 1 September that year. In 2012 the EHF Office celebrated 20 years since it first opened its doors. In the subsequent years, the number of member countries has expanded from the initial 29 to its current number of 50, after Kosovo was granted full membership at the EHF Congress in Dublin, Ireland in September 2014. The Women's EHF European League is an annual competition for women's handball clubs of Europe. It is organized by the European Handball Federation, EHF. It is currently the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the Women's EHF Champions League, EHF Champions League. Nemzeti Bajnokság I (Women's Handball)
The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. 2010 European Women's Handball Championship
The 2010 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Denmark and Norway from 7–19 December. It was the first European Championship hosted by two countries. Norway won their overall 5th gold medal, when they defeated first time finalist Sweden in the final. Romania claimed the bronze medal. Venues Three Danish and two Norwegian cities have been selected to host the 2010 Championship. The venues in Aalborg, Aarhus and Larvik were only used during the preliminary round. The fourth venue to be used in this round is located in Lillehammer, and was also one of the two venues in the main round. The 2009 World Women's Handball Championship was the 19th edition, second to take place outside Europe, of the international championship tournament in women's team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF).
