"Animals" is a song by British metalcore band Architects. Produced by the band's drummer Dan Searle and lead guitarist Josh Middleton, it is featured on the group's 2021 ninth studio album ''For Those That Wish to Exist''. The track was released as the lead single from the album on 20 October 2020. It was written by Dan Searle alongside the rest of the band, and was produced by Searle and Josh Middleton. A live orchestral version of "Animals" was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, being released onto the band's YouTube channel on 26 March 2021 as well as being able to be streamed exclusively on Amazon Music. Architects (British Band)
Architects is a British metalcore band from Brighton, East Sussex, formed in 2004 by twin brothers Dan and Tom Searle. The band now consists of Dan Searle on drums, Sam Carter on vocals, Alex Dean on bass, and Adam Christianson and Josh Middleton on guitars. They have been signed to Epitaph Records since 2013. Strongly influenced by bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, the sound of their first three albums was coarse, chaotic, and rhythmically complex. In 2011, Architects went in a more melodic post-hardcore direction with ''The Here and Now'', alienating some of their fanbase. The following year, they returned towards their original style with ''Daybreaker (Architects album), Daybreaker'', establishing a balance of melody and technical harshness while introducing more politicised lyrics. MetalSucks is a heavy metal music-themed news website. The site features reviews, interviews, information on latest metal releases and blog-like posts from the writers, most notably Vince Neilstein and Axl Rosenberg. History The site was founded in December 2006 by authors Ben Umanov and Matthew Goldenberg who use the pen names Vince Neilstein and Axl Rosenberg. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France.
