Anima (ensemble)
Anima (''musica mundana humana et instrumentalis'') is a Brazilian chamber music ensemble. Anima was formed in 2011 by Marlui Miranda (singing, arrangements, Brazilian indigenous flutes, percussion, and research); Silvia Ricardino (Trobadour harp, research, and arrangements); Marília Vargas (soprano, research, and arrangements); Paulo Dias (percussion, harpsichord, organetto, research and arrangements); Gisela Nogueira – (viola of wire, research and arrangements); Luiz Fiaminghi (Brazilian rabecas research, arrangements, production, and executive direction), and Valeria Bittar (recorders, Brazilian indigenous flutes, research, arrangements, executive direction, and production). Chamber Music
Chamber music is a form of classical music that is composed for a small group of Musical instrument, instruments—traditionally a group that could fit in a Great chamber, palace chamber or a large room. Most broadly, it includes any art music that is performed by a small number of performers, with one performer to a part (in contrast to orchestral music, in which each string part is played by a number of performers). However, by convention, it usually does not include solo instrument performances. Because of its intimate nature, chamber music has been described as "the music of friends". Marlui Miranda
Marlui Miranda is a Brazilian singer, musician, and researcher known for her performances of indigenous music from the Amazon. She has collaborated with Brazilian musicians Gilberto Gil, Egberto Gismonti, Milton Nascimento, and Nana Vasconcelos. Life Miranda was born in Fortaleza in Northeast Brazil. She moved to Rio de Janeiro in 1971 and studied classical guitar with the musician Turíbio Santos. Miranda has conducted extensive research on Brazilian indigenous music, and was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1986 that supported the creation of her early music. In the 1990s, Miranda performed as a vocalist and guitarist with the Brazilian instrumental group Pau Brasil, whose album ''Babel'' was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Performance. Soprano
A soprano () is a type of classical female singing voice and has the highest vocal range of all voice types. Harpsichord

This activates a row of levers that turn a trigger mechanism that plucks one or more strings with a small plectrum made from quill or plastic. The strings are under tension on a soundboard, which is mounted in a wooden case; the soundboard amplifies the vibrations from the strings so that the listeners can hear it. Like a pipe organ, a harpsichord may have more than one keyboard manual, and even a pedal board. Harpsichords may also have stop buttons which add or remove additional octaves. Rabeca
The rabeca or rabeca chuleira is a fiddle originating in Portugal, commonly used in Portugal, Northeastern Brazil, where it is most commonly used in Brazilian forró music, and Cape Verde. It is descended from the medieval rebec.
