Anhonee (1973 Film)
''Anhonee'' is a 1973 Bollywood suspense drama film directed by Ravi Tandon. It stars Sanjeev Kumar, Leena Chandavarkar, Bindu, Padma Khanna and Kamini Kaushal. Laxmikant-Pyarelal provided the music for the film. Year 1996 movie Chhote Sarkar was partially inspired by this film. This is considered one of the best crime thriller film made in Bollywood. Plot After the tragic death of her dad, Dr. Rekha continues to live with her step-mother in Bombay, where she runs a mental institution. While traveling by train one night, they are accosted by a knife-wielding escaped mental patient, Sunil, whose aggression is calmed by Rekha. She gets him admitted into her hospital where he is put under observation and treatment at the hands of Dr. Mathur and herself. Ravi Tandon
Ravi Tandon (17 February 1935 – 11 February 2022) was an Indian film director and producer. He also worked as an assistant director and story writer. He is the father of actress Raveena Tandon. Ravi Tandon directed a number of hit movies, the most popular among these are ''Khel Khel Mein (1975 film), Khel Khel Mein'', ''Anhonee (1973 film), Anhonee'', ''Nazrana (1987 film), Nazrana'', ''Majboor (1974 film), Majboor'', ''Khud-Daar, Khud-daar'', ''Zindagi (1976 film), Zindagi''. Jankidas
Jankidas Mehra (1910 – 18 June 2003) was an Indian actor of Hindi cinema, cyclist, production designer, and writer. He made over 1000 film appearances between the 1930s and 1997. Biography Sports Jankidas served as the only Indian member of the International Olympic Committee at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin along with Hockey legend Major Dhyanchand and was the only Indian to have broken the world record in cycling between 1934 and 1942. In the 1940s, along with Sohrab Bhoot, he founded the Cycling Federation of India. Films Jankidas debuted in films playing a major role in '' Khazanchi'' (1941), produced in Lahore. Kishore Kumar (born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly (); 4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor.
