Angie Lee
Angie Lee (born 1962 or 1963) is the director of student affairs at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse since 2016. Before working at Wisconsin-La Crosse, Lee was an assistant coach with the Western Illinois Leathernecks women's basketball from 1987 to 1988 and a scout for the Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team from 1988 to 1995. Lee was promoted to head coach for Iowa in 1995 and was the 1996 Associated Press College Women's Basketball Coach of the Year. Upon her departure from Iowa in 2000, Lee was an assistant coach on the Virginia Tech Hokies women's basketball team from 2000 until she ended her coaching career in 2004. Paxton, Illinois
Paxton is a city in Ford County, Illinois, United States. The population was 4,473 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Ford County. History The town was initially named Prairie City in the late 1840s, then Prospect City by an Illinois Central Railroad official in 1855. However, as Wilbur W. Sauer says that residents noted the town was "all prospect and no city." In 1859, it was renamed for Sir Joseph Paxton, architect of the Crystal Palace, who was a major shareholder in the Illinois Central Railroad, which in 1856 was the longest span of railroad in the world (Chicago to Cairo). Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament
The Big Ten Conference women's basketball tournament is held annually at the end of the women's college basketball regular season. The tournament has been played each year since 1995. The winner of the tournament is designated the Big Ten Tournament Champion, and receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA women's basketball tournament. The tournament is typically held the first week of March with games played Wednesday thru Sunday. The Big Ten did not begin sponsoring women's basketball until the 1982–83 basketball season. In February 1982 during the 1981–82 season, the conference held a tournament at Michigan State in which Ohio State defeated Illinois 69–66 in the championship game.
