Božena Angelova (born 1981 Maribor) is a Slovenian violinist. She has recorded for the Slovenian Broadcasting Company and has performed as a soloist with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Carinthian symphony orchestra, amongst others. Biography She began playing the violin at age of seven, initially taught by her father. After finishing the local music school, she moved to Austria in order to study with Helfried Fister at the Conservatory of Music in Klagenfurt where she obtained her music degree with distinction. Boyanka Angelova ( bg, Боянка Ангелова; born October 28, 1994) is a Bulgarian gymnast, known for complex and difficult combinations in rhythmic gymnastics. She has mistakenly been identified as the granddaughter of Nadia Comăneci, the first gymnast to receive a perfect 10, in a series of viral videos. Biography In 2007 Boyanka Angelova was ranked first in the girls AA International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament in Varna for the "Queen Margarita". Still at the age of 13, she won bronze medals with the ribbon and the hoop in the first round European competition in Moscow. She went on to come second to Russia's Yana Lukonina for her performance with the ball at the Junior European Championships in Turin in June 2008, and was very popular with the public. Vasil Angelov
Vasil Tomov Angelov ( bg, Васил Томов Ангелов; March 12, 1882 – August 23, 1953) was a Bulgarian military officer and a revolutionary, a worker of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organization (IMARO). Biography Vasil Tomov was born in the Rhodopes village of Arda, in the Ottoman Empire. After he finished high school, he enrolled the Military school in Sofia, where he joined the IMARO. In January 1903 he finished the school and became an officer with the rank of a second lieutenant and served in the Ninth Infantry Plovdiv Regiment, but in the same year he left the military and the Emigrant Representative Body of the IMARO sent him as a military instructor in the revolutionary region of Serres, where he joined the revolutionary band of Yane Sandanski. In August 1903, Angelov was a delegate at the Ser region congress that took place in Livadkata, near the village of Pirin, where the action plan for the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising was developed. ...
