Angela Su
Angela Su is a Hong Kong artist known for her biomorphic drawings, fictional films and hair embroideries, exploring the imagery of the body through metamorphosis, hybridity and transformation. She is a trained biochemist as well as a visual artist. In 2014, Su was featured in ''Art Radar'' on a list of influential Asian female artists making an impact on the international art stage. She represents Hong Kong in the Collateral Event at the 59th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, with a solo exhibition titled: ''Angela Su: Arise, Hong Kong in Venice.'' Biography Angela Su was born in 1958 in Hong Kong. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in biochemistry in 1990 and from the Ontario College of Art with a visual arts degree in 1994. Her works have been exhibited in the Second CAFAM Biennale, the 17th Biennale of Sydney, at the Saatchi Gallery and the Whitechapel Gallery in London. Eraserhead
''Eraserhead'' is a 1977 American surrealist film, surrealist horror film written, directed, produced, and edited by David Lynch. Lynch also created its Eraserhead (soundtrack), score and sound design, which included pieces by a variety of other musicians. Shot in black and white, it was Lynch's first feature-length effort following several short films. Starring Jack Nance, Charlotte Stewart, Jeanne Bates, Judith Roberts (actress), Judith Anna Roberts, Laurel Near, and Jack Fisk, it tells the story of a man who is left to care for his grossly deformed child in a desolate industrial landscape. Frieze Art Fair
Frieze Art Fair is an international contemporary art fair in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Frieze London takes place every October in London's Regent's Park. In the US, the fair ran on New York's Randall's Island from 2012–19 and in 2021 was held in the Shed at Hudson Yards, with its inaugural Los Angeles edition taking place February 2019. The London edition normally has about 160 exhibitors in Frieze. It is held over four days in a 40,000SqM tent. There is a simultaneous Frieze Masters event showing older work with about 130 exhibitors, and a temporary sculpture park. In 2021 stand rental was £524 per sqM.
