Angela Scanlon
Angela Marie Scanlon (born 29 December 1983) is an Irish television presenter and broadcaster for RTÉ and the BBC. She initially broadcast on Irish television, presenting a number of programmes on RTÉ including the documentary ''Oi Ginger!'' in 2014. Since 2016, she has appeared as a reporter on ''The One Show'', and presented in the absence of Alex Jones. She undertook her first role on a major British show as a co-host of '' Robot Wars'' with Dara Ó Briain in 2016. Early life Angela Scanlon was born in Ratoath, County Meath, Ireland. Her father worked in construction and her mother worked in administration. She has three sisters. She attended school in Dunshaughlin, Meath. Ratoath
Ratoath () is a commuter town in County Meath, Ireland. A branch of the Broad Meadow Water (Broadmeadow River) () flows through the town. The R125 and R155 roads meet in the village. At the 2016 census, there were 9,533 people living in Ratoath. The town is around northwest of Dublin city centre. Name Ratoath gives its name to a village, a townland, a parish, an electoral division and to a barony. The derivation or meaning of the word is uncertain. Two alternative Irish forms are cited: ''Ráth-Tógh'' and ''Ráth-Tábhachta''. These place names occur in Irish manuscripts and scholars say that the writers were referring to Ratoath; it seems that they were trying to give a phonetic rendering of a name that was unfamiliar to them. ''Mruigtuaithe'' occurs in the Book of Armagh as the name of one of these places in Meath where Saint Patrick founded a church and Eoin MacNeill identifies it as Ratoath. Busch Gardens Williamsburg (formerly known as Busch Gardens Europe and Busch Gardens: The Old Country) is a amusement park located in James City County near Williamsburg, Virginia, United States. Located approximately northwest of Virginia Beach, the park was developed by Anheuser-Busch (A-B) and is owned by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Caroline Louise Flack (9 November 1979 – 15 February 2020) was an English television and radio presenter and actress. Brendan O'Connor (born 23 January 1970) is an Irish media personality and comedian. He presents the Current Affairs panel show ''Cutting Edge'' on RTÉ. ''The Movie Show'' was a half-hour weekly Irish television series which served as RTÉ's flagship movie review show. First broadcast in 1993 until September 2001, it was presented by Dave Fanning, who was amongst the many people outraged when the show was axed. Movie companies were also said to be distressed at its axing. Fanning criticised RTÉ's management, who never once consulted with him before making their decision, and said the axing of the show was "ludicrous" and "outrageous". ''Sunday Brunch'' is a British television programme presented by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. It is broadcast live on Channel 4 on Sunday mornings and features cookery and interviews with celebrity guests. Format The programme began on 25 March 2012. It was first announced by Channel 4 in February 2012 after the BBC series '' Something for the Weekend'' ended its seven-year run due to budget cuts.
