Angel Of Sodom
Angel of Sodom is a thrash metal band that originated out of Helsinki, Finland. The band was created in 2009, founded by Eero Tertsunen, who also performs in Renascent, and Michael Majalahti. The band has released one studio album in 2015 and an EP in 2016. In 2016, the band went on a hiatus, due to Tertsunen moving to Bloomington, Indiana in the United States. History The project was created by Eero Tertsunen on guitars and Michael Majalahti on vocals. Majalahti and Tertsunen began writing new music and over the course of several years, eventually wrote and recorded a full-length album, which was titled ''Divine Retribution'', which was very well received. The album featured Rolf Pilve of Stratovarius on drums. Following the album, however, the band hoped to perform live and Pilve was unable to commit to live performances, leading them to hire on Joonas Heikkinen. Symphony of Heaven is a Christian blackened death metal band from Owensville, Indiana, United States. The band began in 2017 as a solo project, but morphed into a full band by 2019, consisting of Logan Thompson (guitars/vocals), David Napier (bass), Eero Tertsunen (guitars), and Mason Beard (drums). The Dark Element is a Swedish/Finnish symphonic metal band formed by former Nightwish vocalist Anette Olzon and former Sonata Arctica guitarist Jani Liimatainen. History In 2016, Frontiers Records offered Jani Liimatainen to record and publish a new album. Liimatainen had then thought that he was going to work with a female vocalist, because the singers of his previous projects had been men. Frontiers soon informed him that Anette Olzon would be the one. Also included on this album are some new songs from 2004, never used before. The project was announced on August 29, 2017. Dreamtale
Dreamtale is a Finnish power metal, power/symphonic metal band from Tampere, formed in 1999. History The music project was founded by guitarist Rami Keränen in early 1999. Keränen also served as the band's vocalist until 2002. The band first gathered fame by playing as Sinergy's supporting act in Finland, and their second demo, ''Refuge from Reality'', sold out on the day of its release. Most of the copies of the demo were sold in Japan, which helped the band make itself known to record labels. Dreamtale started receiving recording deal offers from around the world, and in August 2001 signed a deal with Spinefarm Records. Stratovarius is a Finnish power metal band that formed in 1985. Since their formation, they have released sixteen studio albums, five DVDs and six live albums. In its history, the band has gone through many chaotic lineup changes, and after founding guitarist Timo Tolkki's departure in 2008, there are no founding members of the band that remain. Currently, the longest standing member is singer Timo Kotipelto, who joined in 1994.
