Angel Gabriele
Angel Gabriele, sometimes credited as Pat Gabriele or Pasquale D. Gabriel (March 21, 1956 – February 23, 2016), was an American comic book artist and publisher, best known for the comic book adaptation of the Space Giants; and a professional wrestling manager and promoter, renowned for his role as the Dark Angel. Biography Comics Gabriele was born in Brooklyn, New York and began his venture in comic books at the age of 16 by holding the 1972 comics convention, convention Fan Con '72 in Norfolk, Virginia, hosting such guests as Kelly Freas, Wally Wood, Murray Leinster, and Mike Kaluta. Gabriele learned the basics of the art trade in the early 1970s from Freas in his Virginia Beach studio. Trevor Von Eeden (born July 24, 1959) is a Guyanese-American comics artist, actor and writer known for his work on such titles as ''Black Lightning'', ''Batman'', ''Green Arrow'', ''Power Man and Iron Fist'', and the biographical series ''The Original Johnson''. Early life Von Eeden was born in Guyana and moved to New York City when he was 11 years old. According to Von Eeden, he remembers drawing in his early teens in order to alleviate the boredom of junior high school, beginning with anatomical studies of faces and hands, which he says are the most difficult things to draw accurately. Kobra is the name used by two supervillains published by DC Comics. The Jeffrey Burr incarnation of Kobra and his brother Jason first appeared in ''Kobra'' #1 (February 1976), and were created by Jack Kirby.
