Angel Dzhambazki
Angel Chavdarov Dzhambazki (family name sometimes also transliteration, transliterated as Djambazki) (Bulgarian language, Bulgarian: Ангел Чавдаров Джамбазки) (born 21 March 1979, in Sofia) is a Bulgarian Bulgarian nationalism, nationalist politician and currently a member of the European Parliament. He is also the vice-chairman of the IMRO – Bulgarian National Movement, IMRO, having joined the nationalism, nationalist party in 1997 and gradually progressed through its ranks. Dzhambazki is a graduate of Sofia University, where he specialized in international studies. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms ( bg, Движение за права и свободи ''Dvizhenie za prava i svobodi'', ДПС, DPS; tr, Hak ve Özgürlükler Hareketi, HÖH) is a centrist political party in Bulgaria with a support base among ethnic minority communities. Volen Nikolov Siderov ( bg, Волен Николов Сидеров ; born 19 April 1956) is a Bulgarian Far-right politics, far-right politician and chairman of the nationalist party Attack (political party), Attack. He has been the editor of numerous newspapers and has authored five books. Sofia Pride
Sofia Pride Parade is a peaceful march of LGBT people and their relatives and friends, which combines social and political protest with entertainment such as live concerts. It takes place every year in the month of June in Bulgaria's capital Sofia since 2008. The first Sofia Pride parade was held on June 28, 2008, on the same date as the Stonewall riots in New York City that occurred in 1969. Same-sex sexual activity became legal on May 1, 1968. Between 1968 and the collapse of communism in 1989, no publicly gay movements nor places of social gatherings existed. The Romani (also spelled Romany or Rromani , ), colloquially known as the Roma, are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group, traditionally nomadic itinerants. A ghetto, often called ''the'' ghetto, is a part of a city in which members of a minority group live, especially as a result of political, social, legal, environmental or economic pressure. Ghettos are often known for being more impoverished than other areas of the city. Versions of the ghetto appear across the world, each with their own names, classifications, and groupings of people. The term was originally used for the Venetian Ghetto in Venice, Italy, as early as 1516, to describe the part of the city where Jewish people were restricted to live and thus segregated from other people. 2019 Bulgarian Local Elections
The first round of the local elections for mayors and municipal councilors on both the local and provincial level in Bulgaria were held on 27 October 2019. The second round of the election took place on 3 November, as per the decree signed by the President of Bulgaria. 6,227,901 Bulgarians were included on the voter lists and were eligible to vote, a 136,000 voter reduction compared to the 2015 local elections. Following the final results, the results on the provincial level showed that the ruling GERB party had lost 6 mayorships in comparison to the previous election. The Socialist Party gained four, the Bulgaria for Citizens movement gained one, the Union of Democratic Forces and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms kept their previous result by obtaining one each, and two independent candidates were elected.
