Ang Syota Kong Balikbayan
''Ang Syota Kong Balikbayan'' (English: My Girlfriend, the Returnee) is a 1995 Philippine romantic action comedy film directed by Pablo Santiago. It stars Fernando Poe Jr. (who produced the film) and Anjanette Abayari in the lead roles. The word ''balikbayan'' (literally "return to the homeland") refers to members of the Filipino diaspora who return to or visit the Philippines. Plot Cathy returns from the US to pursue a modeling career and donate her inherited property to her tenants in accordance with her grandmother's wishes. She meets with her uncle Facundo, who tells her that he intends to sell off the property, to which he has a share, and asks for her permission, which she refuses. Fernando Poe Jr
Ronald Allan Kelley Poe (August 20, 1939 – December 14, 2004), known professionally as Fernando Poe Jr., and often referred to by his initials FPJ, was a Filipino actor, film director, producer, screenwriter, and politician. German Molina Moreno (; October 4, 1933 – January 8, 2016), also known as Kuya Germs ( or ) and dubbed as "The Master Showman", was a Filipino television host, presenter, actor, comedian, talent manager, producer, writer, and director. Augusto Valdes Pangan, Sr. (March 12, 1932 – July 2, 1997), professionally known as Chiquito, was a Filipino actor and comedian. Biography Chiquito was born Augusto Valdes Pangan in Manila. His entertainment career began at the age of 13, when he appeared in a major musical production at the Manila Grand Opera House. In the next several years, he was a fixture in the Manila bodabil circuit, popular for his skill in dancing the boogie-woogie. Chiquito was befriended by Fernando Poe, Sr., and with Poe's assistance, started a film career. He broke into films with ''Sanggano'' from Palaris Pictures.
