Anfilogino Guarisi
Amphilóquio Guarisi Marques (26 December 1905 – 8 June 1974) was an Italian Brazilian footballer who played as a forward. In Brazil he was known as Filó () and in Italy as Anfilogino Guarisi (). Throughout his career he played football in both Brazil and Italy, representing both nations at international level, and was a member of the Italian team that won the 1934 FIFA World Cup. Career Born in São Paulo, in 1922 Guarisi started his career in Portuguesa, where his father, Manuel Augusto Marques, was the president. In 1925 he transferred to Paulistano, where he played alongside the legendary figure of Arthur Friedenreich. In the same year, in a friendly match against France on Europe, he scored one of the goals, and the game ended Paulistano 7–2 France. Arthur Friedenreich
Arthur Friedenreich (18 July 1892 – 6 September 1969) was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward. He was nicknamed ''The Tiger'' or ''The Original "Black" Pearl'', and was arguably the sport's first outstanding mixed-race player. He played when Brazilian football was still amateur, which lasted until 1933. He is occasionally identified as one of the all-time top scorers in football history, although this is highly disputed. Araken Patusca (17 July 1905 – 24 January 1990) was a Brazilian footballer who played as a striker. He was born in Santos. Throughout his career (1923–1937), he played for Santos FC, Club Athletico Paulistano, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, São Paulo. Having been three consecutive times runner-up with Santos (1927, 1928, 1929) at the ''Campeonato Paulista'', he won the title with them in 1931, and then in 1935 with Independente. With Siriri, Feitiço, Evengelista and Camarão formed one of the most important attacking lines of the 1920s. In 1928, he was the top goalscorer of the ''Campeonato Paulista''. The 1930 FIFA World Cup was the inaugural FIFA World Cup, the world championship for men's national football teams. It took place in Uruguay from 13 to 30 July 1930. FIFA, football's international governing body, selected Uruguay as host nation, as the country would be celebrating the centenary of its first constitution and the Uruguay national football team had successfully retained their football title at the 1928 Summer Olympics.
