Anett Bősz
Anett Bősz (born 18 December 1986) is a Hungarian liberal politician. Since November 2019, she has been the Leader of the Hungarian Liberal Party. She is a Member of Parliament since 2018. Education After graduating from the Alternative School of Economics, she graduated from Faculty of Economics of the Corvinus University in Budapest, 2011, with a degree in International Economics. In the meantime, she led the faculty's Student Self-Government for a year, in 2008, where, following the termination of her presidency, she became an external associate of the organization dealing with marketing communications and journalism. In 2010, she was awarded a scholarship by the Free University of Berlin, where she expanded her knowledge of international relations, human rights, diplomacy and European integration as a student at the Institute for Political Science. Hungarian Liberal Party
Hungarian Liberal Party ( hu, Magyar Liberális Párt, shortened form Liberals (''Liberálisok'') or MLP) is a liberal political party in Hungary that was formed on 27 April 2013 and is led by Anett Bősz. History Foundation Gábor Fodor announced in January 2013 that he intended to establish a new liberal party in Hungary. He presented his party in April 2013, promising "more liberal, person-centered and patriotic politics". Fodor is a former Minister of Education and a former member of Fidesz and of the Alliance of Free Democrats (SZDSZ). He criticized the state's tutelary policy and emphasized, Hungary was then in forefront of the region, when liberalism and the SZDSZ were strong. Fodor also introduced the party's programme with the title of "Sympathetic liberalism", breaking away from the "intellectual arrogance" of his previous party. Everybody's Hungary Movement
The Everybody's Hungary Movement ( hu, Mindenki Magyarországa Mozgalom; MMM) is a Hungarian political movement established to foster independent opposition and alternatives to Fidesz candidates in local elections. The Movement, which does not describe itself as a political party, was founded by Péter Márki-Zay and associates in 2018 as a means of fostering cooperation between Hungary's fractured opposition parties. Márki-Zay won the mayoralty of Hódmezővásárhely in 2018, and in 2021 became the candidate of the United for Hungary to challenge Viktor Orbán in the 2022 parliamentary election, which he lost. Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance (; hu, Fidesz – Magyar Polgári Szövetség) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Hungary, led by Viktor Orbán. It was formed in 1988 under the name of Alliance of Young Democrats () as a centre-left and liberal activist movement that opposed the ruling Marxist–Leninist government. It was registered as a political party in 1990, with Orbán as its leader. It entered the National Assembly following the 1990 parliamentary election, although, it lost two seats after the 1994 election. 2022 Hungarian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on 3 April 2022 to elect the National Assembly, coinciding with a referendum. Hungary's incumbent prime minister Viktor Orbán declared victory on Sunday night, with partial results showing his Fidesz party leading the vote by a wide margin. Addressing his supporters after the partial results, Orbán said: "We won a victory so big that you can see it from the moon, and you can certainly see it from Brussels".
