Anele Ngcongca
Calvin Anele Ngcongca (21 October 1987 – 23 November 2020) was a South African professional footballer who played as a right back. Career On 29 August 2015, Ngcongca joined ES Troyes AC on a season-long loan from Genk after being relegated to the bench by his head coach. On 23 November 2020, Anele Ngcongca died in a car accident on the N2 highway in KwaZulu-Natal. He played for AmaZulu before his death. Cape Town ( af, Kaapstad; , xh, iKapa) is one of South Africa's three capital cities, serving as the seat of the Parliament of South Africa. The Belgian Super Cup ( nl, Belgische Supercup, ; french: Supercoupe de Belgique; german: Belgischer Fußball-Super Cup), ''Pro League Supercup'', is a Belgian club competition played as a single match between the Belgian First Division A champions (also received the Super Cup host) and the Belgian Cup winners. Telkom Knockout
The Telkom Knockout was a South African professional football knockout competition which comprised the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League. The competition was established in 1982 and was first known as the Datsun Challenge. Under the new NSL regime in 1984, it became known as the ''JPS Knockout Cup''. It used this name until 1992 when it became known as the ''Coca-Cola Cup''. It was sponsored by the drinks manufacturer until 1996, when it was replaced by the ''Rothmans Cup'' which was changed back to the ''Coca-Cola Cup'' in 2001 due to the new rules regarding tobacco sponsorship in sport. Telkom became the new sponsors in 2006. In all matches there had to be a winner on the day, this will be decided if there is a winner after full-time (90 minutes). The Nedbank Cup is the current name of South Africa's Premier Soccer League, premier club association football, soccer knockout tournament. While many formats have been used over the years, the tournament has always been based on the idea of giving lower league and amateur teams a chance to compete with clubs from the top league for the cup. The tournament is based on the English FA Cup, which has become known for "giant killings" (lower league clubs defeating a top-flight club). History The tournament was started in 1971 as the Life Challenge Cup, this name stayed in place until 1975. In 1976 and 1977, the tournament was known as the Benson and Hedges Trophy. 2019–20 South African Premier Division
The 2019–20 South African Premier Division season (known as the ABSA Premiership for sponsorship reasons) was the 24th season of the Premier Soccer League since its establishment in 1996. The season began in August 2019 and concluded in September 2020. Mamelodi Sundowns were the two-time defending champions. This season's winner will qualify for the 2020–21 CAF Champions League along with the second-placed team. The 3rd placed team and Nedbank Cup winners qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup. The season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It resumed on 11 August 2020 after more than three months of suspension.
