Aneesah Morrow
Aneesah Morrow (born February 2, 2003) is an American college basketball player for the DePaul Blue Demons. She was named the WBCA and USBWA National Freshman of the Year in 2022. High school career Morrow attended Simeon Career Academy in Chicago, where she helped lead the Wolverines to their first city championship her freshman year. During her junior year, she averaged 23 points, 12.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists, and led them to a 35–2 record and the girls basketball program's first state championship in 2020. In her senior year she averaged 28.4 points, 14.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.9 steals and 2.3 blocks per game. Big East Conference
The Big East Conference is a collegiate athletic conference that competes in NCAA Division I in ten men's sports and twelve women's sports. Headquartered in New York City, the eleven full-member schools are primarily located in Northeast and Midwest metropolitan areas. The Nebraska Cornhuskers women's basketball team represents the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in the Big Ten Conference of NCAA Division I. The 2022 Big East women's basketball tournament is the postseason women’s basketball tournament for the Big East Conference and took place March 4 to 7, 2022, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. UConn won their 20th title, receiving the conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA tournament. Seeds All 11 Big East schools are scheduled to participated in the tournament. Paige Madison Bueckers ( ; born October 20, 2001) is an American college basketball player for the University of Connecticut (UConn) Huskies of the Big East Conference. At Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Bueckers was ranked as the number one recruit in her class by ESPN and received national high school player of the year honors.
