Andy Thorpe
Andrena "Andy" Thorpe (17 November 1929, Melbourne, Australia – 15 October 2010, Riverton, South Australia), was a former model and radio personality who worked at several Australian radio stations in the 1960s and 1970s. She is remembered most for her long running partnership with Bob Francis. She was a successful model in Melbourne modelling for noted photographers such as Helmut Newton and Athol Smith. In 1952 she won the "Camera Model of the Year" and in 1953 she was crowned "Queen of the Southern Beaches" and won a trip to Europe which proved to be a powerful influence on her. In She moved to Adelaide to open a school for models and married businessman Tony Gwynn-Jones. She was encouraged to work in radio after being spotted at a dinner party when outspoken women were still a rarity in Adelaide at that time. Barry Humphries
John Barry Humphries (born 17 February 1934) is an Australian comedian, actor, author and satirist. He is best known for writing and playing his on-stage and television alter egos Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson. He is also a film producer and script writer, a star of London's West End musical theatre, a writer, and a landscape painter. For his delivery of dadaist and absurdist humour to millions, biographer Anne Pender described Humphries in 2010 as not only "the most significant theatrical figure of our time … utthe most significant comedian to emerge since Charlie Chaplin". Rob Lynch
Rob Lynch (born 1 May 1986) is an English educator and singer-songwriter, formerly known as Lost On Campus. He released three EPs under that name before reverting to his birth name and releasing the EP ''Rob Lynch'' on 3 October 2011, followed by ''No Blood'' on 21 December 2012. His debut album, '' All These Nights in Bars Will Somehow Save My Soul'', was released on 22 September 2014 through Xtra Mile Recordings. Career Lynch grew up in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Don Dunstan
Donald Allan Dunstan (21 September 1926 – 6 February 1999) was an Australian politician who served as the 35th premier of South Australia from 1967 to 1968, and again from 1970 to 1979. He was a member of the House of Assembly (MHA) for the division of Norwood from 1953 to 1979, and leader of the South Australian Branch of the Australian Labor Party from 1967 to 1979. Before becoming premier, Dunstan served as the 38th attorney-general of South Australia and the treasurer of South Australia. He is the fourth longest serving premier in South Australian history. The South Australian Museum is a natural history museum and research institution in Adelaide, South Australia, founded in 1856 and owned by the Government of South Australia. 3RRR (pronounced "Three Triple R", or simply "Triple R") is an Australian community radio station, based in Melbourne. 3RRR first commenced broadcasting in 1976 from the studios of 3ST, the student radio station of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (now RMIT University), on an educational licence with the name 3RMT. In 1979 it relocated to Fitzroy, and adopted its present name. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, it became synonymous with the post punk and new wave subcultures.
