Andy Snitzer
Andy Snitzer (born November 28, 1962) is an American saxophonist, composer, and arranger. He is known for his work as a session musician with numerous famous artists, including Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin, Sting, The Rolling Stones, and Chaka Khan. Early life and education Snitzer was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Rochester, New York. He began playing the saxophone at a young age and attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, where he studied with Ramon Ricker. Career After moving to New York City, Snitzer pursued a career as a session musician and composer. He provided the saxophone solo in Boy Meets Girl's 1988 hit " Waiting for a Star to Fall". He has contributed to numerous film and television soundtracks, including ''The Firm'', ''The Prince of Tides'', ''The Manchurian Candidate'', and ''Law & Order''. Saxophone
The saxophone (often referred to colloquially as the sax) is a type of single-reed woodwind instrument with a conical body, usually made of brass. As with all single-reed instruments, sound is produced when a reed on a mouthpiece vibrates to produce a sound wave inside the instrument's body. Jeffrey H. Lorber (born November 4, 1952) is an American keyboardist, composer, and record producer. After six previous nominations, Lorber won his first Grammy Award on January 28, 2018 for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for '' Prototype'' by his band the Jeff Lorber Fusion.
