Andy Ryan
Andy Ryan (born 29 September 1994) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Larne in the Irish Premiership. Ryan began his career with Hamilton Academical, before moving on to Forfar Athletic and subsequently playing with Airdrieonians, Dunfermline Athletic, and Stirling Albion. He has also spent periods on loan with Brechin City and Arbroath. Career He made his club debut for Hamilton Academical on 23 July 2011, in the semi-final of the Scottish Challenge Cup, before making his Scottish Football League debut one week later. Ryan was named SFL Young Player of the Month for February 2012, and was given a three-year contract in March 2012. In June 2012, Ryan praised the club's youth set-up. Forward (association Football)
Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The Scottish League Two, known as cinch League Two for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League Two was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Since the 2014–15 season, the bottom team has entered a play-off against the winner of a play-off between the winners of the Highland and Lowland Leagues for a place in the following season's competition. The 2013–14 Scottish League One was the 19th season in the current format of 10 teams in the third-tier of Scottish football. This was the first season of the competition being part of the newly formed Scottish Professional Football League after the merger of the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Football League. Queen of the South were the defending champions. Rangers were confirmed as champions after a 3–0 home win over Airdrieonians on 12 March 2014. The 2013–14 Scottish Premiership was the first season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football. The season began on 2 August 2013 and concluded on 11 May 2014. This was the first season of the competition being part of the newly formed Scottish Professional Football League after the merger of the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Football League.
