Andy Holt (Hollyoaks)
Andrew "Andy" Holt is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Warren Brown. Storylines On his arrival at Hollyoaks Community College, Andy appeared to be a charming, easy-going student. However, a dark side soon emerged. Andy took Sam Owen under his wing having impressed Sam with his easy confidence with women. The pair quickly became inseparable as Sam became enthralled with Andy, to dangerous consequence. In the late night special '' Hollyoaks: Crossing The Line'', Andy spiked Dannii Carbone’s drink with GHB in order to rape her. Warren Brown (actor)
Warren Martin Brown (born 11 May 1978) is an English actor, best known for his roles as Donny Maguire in '' Shameless'' and Andy Holt in ''Hollyoaks'', DS Justin Ripley in the BBC crime drama ''Luther'' and as Sergeant Thomas "Mac" McAllister in the British-American action television series Strike Back, starting with '' Strike Back: Retribution''. Early life Warren Brown was born in Warrington, England. He studied at the University of Salford. Career After appearing in two episodes of the television series '' Shameless'', Warren played the evil Andy Holt in Channel 4's ''Hollyoaks''. Despite being 27 years old at the time, it was said his youthful good looks and diminutive height helped him win the role of the student. Russ Owen
Russ Owen is a fictional character in the Channel 4 soap opera, ''Hollyoaks'', played by Stuart Manning. He first appeared in the episode first broadcast on 22 August 2004 with the Owen family and has been involved in storylines including being diagnosed with testicular cancer and kidnapping his son Max McQueen (Gabriel Lawrence). It was announced in April 2009 that Manning had quit the role and Russ departed in the episode first broadcast on 3 June 2009. Nine years later, it was confirmed that Manning would reprise the role. The Dog in the Pond (commonly known as The Dog, briefly named The Jolly Roger) is a fictional public house in the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. It has been at the centre of the show's setting since it began in 1995. In 2003, The Dog in the Pond was nominated as the "Best TV Boozer of All Time" in a poll run by Blackthorn Cider.
