Andrew Crawford (actor)
Andrew Crawford (October 24, 1917 – March 18, 1994) was a Scottish stage, film and television actor. Career A former publicist, he made his film debut in ''The Smugglers'' (1947), and with Rank's support, proceeded to make a name for himself with prominent roles during the late forties. These included parts in movies such as ''Broken Journey'' (1948), ''Trottie True'', '' Diamond City'' and ''Boys in Brown'' (all 1949). On Stage he performed at the Comedy Theatre, London on 17 March 1946, in the Green Room Rags, playing opposite John Witty, Harold Warrender and Louise Hampton in ''And No Birds Sing''. Smaller roles followed and he later turned character actor in films such as ''Shadow of the Cat'' (1961) and ''80,000 Suspects'' (1963), as well as television series including '' The Buccaneers'', ''The Adventures of Robin Hood'', ''Danger Man'', ''Dr. Finlay's Casebook'', The Last of the Mohicans (BBC 1971) and ''Crown Court The Crown Court is the court of first instance of En ...

Andrew Crawford (entrepreneur)
Andrew Crawford (born 27 July 1971) is an Irish entrepreneur and the former founder and CEO of The Book Depository. He was born in Zambia, of Irish heritage. Crawford, was educated at Downside School and then The University of Liverpool studying engineering science and industrial management. After a brief spell working for his family firm, Crawford worked in the 1990s in security and specialist risk management working as a Private Security Contractor throughout EMEA. Having been part of the startup team for Bookpages.co.uk sold to Amazon.com, he went on to found The Book Depository in 2004 which is working to make "All Books Available to All". It was later sold to Amazon. Crawford is also founder of Dodo Press, a publisher which reissues up to 200 classic titles a week. Andrew Crawford was a Scottish knight during the 13th-14th century. His parentage is not clear and his daughters upon his death were placed by King John Balliol, John of Scotland into guardianship of Robert II Keith, Marischal of Scotland, Robert Keith, Marischal of Scotland, however it would seem that the Clan Campbell, Campbells of Loch Awe had the daughters under guardianship in dispute. This was contested in the English courts. Andrew "Andy" or "Drew" Crawford is a Scottish-American soccer coach and retired player who played professionally in the National Professional Soccer League and the Continental Indoor Soccer League. Player Youth Born in Scotland, Crawford grew up in Three Rivers, Michigan. In 1985, he graduated from Three Rivers High School where he was an All State soccer player. Crawford attended Siena Heights College, playing on the men's soccer team from 1985 to 1988. During his four seasons with the Saints, he was a 1987 First Team and a 1988 Honorable Mention NAIA All American. His seventy goals and twenty-nine assists puts him second on the school's career goals and career points lists. He graduated in 1989. In 1999, Siena Heights inducted Crawford into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame. Professional In 1989, Crawford joined the Permian Basin Shooting Stars of the Southwest Indoor Soccer League.
