Andy Barlow (producer)
Andy Barlow is a British record producer and musician best known for his work as a founding member of the band Lamb. Biography Barlow first found fame as a member of the band Smoll Fat Child with lead guitarist Matt Goldberg. Later in life, during a hiatus from Lamb, Barlow released solo work as Hip Optimist and LOWB. His debut album as LOWB, ''Leap and the Net Will Appear'', was re-released by Distiller Records with additional tracks, new artwork and the EP ''Inward Outburst'' in 2013. LOWB performed live on BBC Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary show and at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Barlow has collaborated with and remixed other artists including Damien Rice, Elbow, and Placebo, produced and co-wrote ''Dismantle and Rebuild'' with The Ramona Flowers, produced and mixed David Gray's ''Mutineers'' and produced five songs on U2's ''Songs of Experience ''Songs of Innocence and of Experience'' is a collection of illustrated poems by William Blake. Damien Rice
Damien George Rice (born 7 December 1973) is an Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He began his career as a member of the 1990s rock group Juniper, who were signed to Polygram Records in 1997. The band enjoyed moderate success in Ireland with two released singles, "The World is Dead" and "Weatherman". After leaving the band in 1998, Rice worked as a farmer in Tuscany and busked throughout Europe before returning to Ireland in 2001 and beginning a solo career. The rest of Juniper went on to perform under the name Bell X1. In 2002, Rice released his debut album, '' O''. ''Songs of Experience'' is the fourteenth studio album by Irish rock band U2. Released on 1 December 2017, it was produced by Jacknife Lee and Ryan Tedder with Steve Lillywhite, Andy Barlow, Jolyon Thomas, Brent Kutzle, Paul Epworth, Danger Mouse, and Declan Gaffney. Placebo (band)
Placebo are a British rock band, formed in London in 1994 by vocalist–guitarist Brian Molko and bassist–guitarist Stefan Olsdal. Drummer Robert Schultzberg joined in late 1994, but left in 1996 shortly after the release of the band's eponymous debut album due to conflicts with Molko, and was replaced the same year by Steve Hewitt. Following the release of a demo, a split single, and their eponymous debut album, Placebo gained exposure in 1997 after the single " Nancy Boy" became popular in the UK, a song notorious at the time for its gender-bending content. Elbow (band)
Elbow are an English rock band formed in Bury, Greater Manchester, in 1997. The band consists of Guy Garvey (lead vocals, guitar), Craig Potter (keyboard, piano, backing vocals), Mark Potter (guitar, backing vocals) and Pete Turner (bass guitar, backing vocals).
