Andy Baquero
Andy Baquero Ruiz (born 17 August 1994) is a Cuban professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Canadian Premier League club Valour FC. Club career Career in Cuba Baquero played for hometown team La Habana, before joining Villa Clara in April 2017. Valour FC On 26 June 2021, Baquero signed with Canadian Premier League side Valour FC. He re-signed with the club in January 2022. International career Baquero has played in the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games. He made his senior international debut for Cuba versus Indonesia on 29 March 2014, and has, as of August 2018, earned a total of 17 caps, scoring one goal. Valour Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer club based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The club competes in the Canadian Premier League and plays its home matches at IG Field. The team is coached by Phillip Dos Santos and community owned through the Winnipeg Football Club. 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship
The 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship determined the four CONCACAF representatives to advance to the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico. Jamaica staged the championship between 14 and 27 February. The United States defeated Canada 3–0 in the final to claim their third championship. Qualified teams Mexico did not participate. Squads Draw The draw for the final tournament took place on December 15 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, dividing the 12 sides into four, three-team groups. 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup
The 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the eighth FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was held in Colombia from 10 September to 1 October 2016. Brazil and Spain, the two teams that won all seven previous tournaments, were eliminated in the round of 16 and quarter-finals respectively. 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League Qualifying
The qualifying phase of the 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League was a one-off tournament that took place from 6 September 2018 to 24 March 2019. The qualifying determined the seeding for the group phase of the inaugural tournament, as well as determining the remaining ten teams that qualified for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Format Apart from the six teams which participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying hexagonal, the other 34 teams (Guatemala could not enter due to FIFA suspension after missing the deadline of 1 March 2018) entered qualifying. Estadio Nacional de Fútbol Pedro Marrero, the home of CF Ciudad de La Habana, is a multi-purpose stadium in Havana, Cuba. It is now used primarily for football matches. The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 13th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 23rd CONCACAF regional championship overall in the organization's fifty-four years of existence. FIFA World Cup Qualification
The FIFA World Cup qualification is a competitive match that a national association football team takes in order to qualify for one of the available berths at the final tournament of the (men's) FIFA World Cup. Qualifying tournaments are held within the six FIFA continental zones, each organized by their respective confederations: AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North and Central America and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe).
