Andrés Silva
Andrés Bayron Silva Lemos (born 27 March 1986 in Tacuarembó ) is a Uruguayan track athlete. He competed in the combined events on the youth and junior levels, but has since specialized in the 400 metres and 400 metres hurdles. Silva participated in the 400 metres at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, and 400 metres hurdles at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He was Uruguay's flagbearer at the 2007 Pan American Games. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. 2007 Pan American Games
The 2007 Pan American Games, officially known as the XV Pan American Games, were a major continental multi-sport event that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 13 to 29, 2007. A total of 5,633 athletes from 42 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competed in 332 events in 34 sports and in 47 disciplines.
