André Alves dos Santos (born 15 October 1983) is a Brazilian former professional association football, footballer who played as a striker (association football), striker. Club career In 2005 Alves joined Budapest Honvéd FC, Budapest Honvéd where he scored 6 goals in 14 appearances in six months. In summer 2005 he was transferred to Kaposvári Rákóczi FC, Kaposvári Rákóczi. In 2 and a half seasons he played 73 times and scored 23 goals. He was loaned out to Russian side Luch-Energia Vladivostok in which he scored a goal in 13 appearances. In summer 2009 he joined Videoton FC. In the 2010–11 season he became top goalscorer. In a total, he played 91 times with Videoton FC and he scored 55 goals. On 30 January 2012, he moved to Cyprus side AC Omonia, Omonia. The 2015–16 Cypriot First Division was the 77th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. It began on 22 August 2015 and ended on 15 May 2016. APOEL were the defending champions. The league expanded from 12 to 14 teams this season, comprised eleven teams from the 2014–15 season and three promoted teams from the 2014–15 Second Division. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The 2009–10 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, was the 108th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league was officially named ''Soproni Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The season began on 24 July 2009 and ended on 23 May 2010. Debrecen were the defending champions, and they defended their title. Promotion and relegation from 2008–09 BFC Siófok and Rákospalotai EAC finished the season in the last two places and thus were relegated to their respective NB II divisions. Siófok ended a two-year stint in Hungary's highest football league while Rákospalota were relegated after four years. Flórián Albert
Flórián Albert (15 September 1941 – 31 October 2011) was a Hungarian professional football player, manager and sports official, who was named European Footballer of the Year in 1967. Nicknamed "The Emperor", he played as a forward, and has been described as one of the most elegant footballers of all time. A club legend of Ferencvárosi TC, Albert joined the team as a schoolboy and spent his whole playing career at ''Fradi''. He also starred for Hungary, winning 75 international caps and scoring 31 goals. He was joint top-scorer at the 1962 World Cup with four goals and played a key role in Hungary's third-place finish at the European Championship in 1964. The Cypriot Super Cup is a Cypriot football trophy, contested in an annual match between the previous season's Cypriot First Division champions, and the Cypriot Cup winners. The match is contested at the beginning of the football season, and is usually played at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia. The most successful team in the competition are Omonia, who have won the trophy on 17 occasions. The current holders are Apollon Limassol, who defeated Omonia 2–0 in the 2022 match. The 2011–12 Cypriot Cup was the 70th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 28 clubs entered the competition. It began on 30 November 2011 with the first round and concluded on 16 May 2012 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. AC Omonia, Omonia won their 14th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating AEL Limassol, AEL 1–0 in the final.
