András Herczeg
András Herczeg (born 11 July 1956) is a Hungarian football manager and former player, who is currently the manager of Debreceni VSC. He worked as the manager of the Debreceni VSC between 2007 and 2010. He led his team to the groups stages of the Champions League 2009–10 season and to the group stages of the Europa League 2010-11 season. His team reached their zenith by beating Sampdoria 2–0 at the Puskás Ferenc Stadium in 2010. Managerial career Debreceni VSC First era András Herczeg became the manager of Debreceni VSC in 2007. Debreceni VSC won the Hungarian National Championship I in 2009 and 2010 and the Hungarian Cup in 2008 and 2010. Gyöngyös
Gyöngyös (; german: Gengeß) is a town in Heves county in Hungary, east of Budapest. Situated at the foot of the Sár-hegy and Mátra mountains, it is the home of numerous food production plants, including milk production and sausage factories. The 2009–10 Magyar Kupa (English: ''Hungarian Cup'') was the 70th season of Hungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. The 2009–10 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, was the 108th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league was officially named ''Soproni Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The season began on 24 July 2009 and ended on 23 May 2010. Debrecen were the defending champions, and they defended their title. Promotion and relegation from 2008–09 BFC Siófok and Rákospalotai EAC finished the season in the last two places and thus were relegated to their respective NB II divisions. Siófok ended a two-year stint in Hungary's highest football league while Rákospalota were relegated after four years. Promotion to the league was achieved by the champions of the NB II Eastern Division, Ferencvárosi TC and by the runners-up of the Western Division, Lombard-Pápa TFC.
