Andrzej Zaorski
Andrzej Adam Zaorski (17 December 1942 – 31 October 2021) was a Polish actor and cabaret artist, appearing in television, film and theater, as well as on the radio. He was the son of , the brother of film director Janusz Zaorski, and the father-in-law of satyrist :pl:Andrzej Butruk, Andrzej Butruk. Biography Zaorski was born in Piaski, Świdnik County, Piaski, Poland. He graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw in 1964 and made his debut at the theatre on 31 January 1965. He performed at the Warsaw Contemporary Theatre until 1970, then at the Ateneum Theatre, National Theatre, Warsaw, National Theatre, Powszechny Theatre, "On Targówku" theatre and Square theatre, and the U Lopka, Pod Egidą, "Tu 60-tka" and "Kaczuch Show" cabarets. ''The Night of the Generals'' is a 1967 World War II mystery film directed by Anatole Litvak and produced by Sam Spiegel. It stars Peter O'Toole, Omar Sharif, Tom Courtenay, Donald Pleasence, Joanna Pettet and Philippe Noiret. The screenplay by Joseph Kessel and Paul Dehn was loosely based on the beginning of the novel of the same name by German author Hans Hellmut Kirst. The writing credits also include the line "based on an incident written by James Hadley Chase"; a subplot from Chase's 1952 novel ''The Wary Transgressor''.
