Andries Burger
Andries Johannes Burger (born 25 August 1981), known as Jan-Berry Burger, is a former Namibian cricketer. He made his international debut in February 2003. He was part of Namibia's first ever ODI team and was part of Namibia's first ever World Cup team. Biography He was born in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. He was raised up in Pretoria and later moved to Namibia along with his father at the age of 16. However, he returned to South Africa and joined the Free State Cricket Academy in 2000. He also pursued his higher education at the Stellenbosch University. Domestic career He also played in the Birmingham and District Premier League representing Knowle and Dorridge Cricket Club. He also played for Horsham Cricket Club in the Sussex Cricket League. 2001 ICC Trophy
The 2001 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament played in Ontario, Canada in 2001. It was the Cricket World Cup qualification tournament for the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Three spots in the World Cup were on offer and the Netherlands, host nation Canada and for the first time, Namibia all qualified. Scotland failed to qualify losing in the 3rd place play off and finishing fourth. The Netherlands won the final against Namibia. 2004 ICC Six Nations Challenge
The 2004 ICC Six Nations Challenge was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in the United Arab Emirates from 29 February to 6 March 2004. Matches were played in Dubai and Sharjah. The tournament was the third and final edition of the ICC Six Nations Challenge, and featured six associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Canada, Namibia, and the Netherlands had competed in the 2003 World Cup, while the three other teams invited were Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. 2004 ICC Intercontinental Cup
The 2004 ICC Intercontinental Cup was the inaugural edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup first class cricket tournament, an international cricket tournament between nations who have not been awarded Test status by the International Cricket Council. Kenya National Cricket Team
The Kenya national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members. They have been an associate member of the ICC since 1981. Since then they have played in five Cricket World Cups from 1996 to 2011 with their best result being a semi-final appearance at the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Southern Africa. Jean-Pierre Kotze (born 23 April 1994) is a Namibian cricketer. In January 2018, he was named in Namibia's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. In March 2019, he was named in Namibia's squad for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. Namibia finished in the top four places in the tournament, therefore gaining One Day International (ODI) status. Kotze made his ODI debut for Namibia on 27 April 2019, against Oman, in the tournament's final. In June 2019, he was one of twenty-five cricketers to be named in Cricket Namibia's Elite Men's Squad ahead of the 2019–20 international season. Danie Keulder (born 2 August 1973) is a former Namibian cricketer. He played for Namibia between 1994, when he first appeared for the team in the ICC Trophy, against Canada which his team lost by eight wickets, having put a mere 51 runs on the board, and 2005.
