Andreína Tarazón Bolívar (born 8 February 1988) is a Venezuelan politician that has served as deputy of the National Assembly and minister for Women and Gender Equality. Career She graduated as a lawyer from the Central University of Venezuela, and started her political career taking part in the support team of ''Misión Robinson'' in Aragua in 2003 and in the colectivo ''Pueblo Soberano de la Placera'' between 2002 and 2003. While being a law student she was a member of the University Transformation Movement and took part in the student committee that supported the government in the National Assembly in 2007, as well as a juvenile delegate in the foundational congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Youth. Nicolás Maduro
Nicolás Maduro Moros (; born 23 November 1962) is a Venezuelan politician and president of Venezuela since 2013, with his presidency under dispute since 2019. Beginning his working life as a bus driver, Maduro rose to become a trade union leader before being elected to the National Assembly in 2000. He was appointed to a number of positions under President Hugo Chávez, serving as President of the National Assembly from 2005 to 2006, as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2006 to 2013 and as the vice president from 2012 to 2013 under Chávez. After Chávez's death was announced on 5 March 2013, Maduro assumed the presidency. A special presidential election was held in 2013, which Maduro won with 50.62% of the vote as the United Socialist Party of Venezuela candidate. Gladys del Valle Requena (9 November 1952) is a Venezuelan politician who has been a member of the National Assembly and minister. She was also a member of the 2017 Constituent National Assembly. Career Requena moved to Vargas with her family looking for a better quality of life. She is a professor of Spanish and literature who graduated from the Instituto Pedagógico de Caracas in 1977, and graduated as a lawyer from the Central University of Venezuela in 1982. She specialized in labor law. She was deputy to the National Assembly for the Vargas State and the president of the parliamentary Permanent Commission of Culture and Recreation. 2010 Venezuelan Parliamentary Election
The 2010 parliamentary election in Venezuela took place on 26 September 2010 to elect the 165 deputies to the National Assembly. Venezuelan opposition parties, which had boycotted the previous election thus allowing the governing Fifth Republic Movement (MVR) to gain a two-thirds super majority, participated in the election through the Coalition for Democratic Unity (MUD). In 2007 the Fifth Republic Movement dissolved and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela was formed as the leading government party.
