Andrew White (basketball)
Andrew Jackson White III (born June 16, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Northside Wizards of the NBL1 North. He played in college for Kansas, Nebraska, and Syracuse. College career White began his collegiate career at Kansas and played sparingly during his two seasons with the Jayhawks, averaging just 2.2 points per game as a freshman and 2.4 as a sophomore. He transferred to Nebraska and sat out a season. In his redshirt junior year, he averaged 16.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for the Cornhuskers, shooting 41.2 percent from behind the arc. After graduating, White played a postgrad year for the Syracuse Orange, leading the team in scoring with 18.5 points per game. He made a school-high 112 three-pointers that season, breaking Gerry McNamara's record of 107. White was named to the Third Team All-ACC. Gerry McNamara
Gerry McNamara (born August 28, 1983) is a retired American basketball player and current assistant coach of the Syracuse University men's basketball team. A former guard for the Orange, he never missed a start in his career which lasted from 2002 to 2006. He also helped lead the team to the 2003 national title. After graduating from Syracuse, McNamara played professionally for Panionios BC, Olympiacos BC, the Bakersfield Jam, BK Ventspils, and the Reno Bighorns. In 2009, McNamara announced his retirement as a player and returned to Syracuse as a graduate student and assistant coach. Personal life McNamara was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Greensboro Swarm are an American basketball team of the NBA G League based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and are affiliated with the Charlotte Hornets. 2019 NBA Summer League
The 2019 NBA Summer League was held at the Thomas and Mack Center and Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada on the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It began on July 5 and ended on July 15. All 30 teams and two national teams, China and Croatia, participated. Teams competed in a tournament-style schedule in four preliminary games before seeding in a tournament; each team played at least five games and some teams played seven. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017.
