Andrew William Thomas (born October 8, 1939) is an American composer. He studied with Karel Husa at Cornell University, with Nadia Boulanger in Paris, and earned his M.M. and D.M.A. Degrees in Composition at The Juilliard School. At Juilliard he studied with Luciano Berio, Elliott Carter, and Otto Luening. Thomas teaches and was the chairman of the Composition Department at the Pre-College Division at Juilliard from 1969 to 1994. In 1994, the Juilliard School appointed him the Director of the Pre-College Division. In addition to composing, Dr. Thomas performs as a pianist, conductor, and is a guest teacher throughout the world. His many awards include a grant from The National Endowment for the Arts and a Distinguished Teacher Citation from The White House Commission on Presidential Scholars. Bad Boys Blue are the German pop group formed in Cologne in 1984. The group performed many international hits including "You're a Woman", " Pretty Young Girl", " I Wanna Hear Your Heartbeat", and "Come Back and Stay". The group became massively popular in Eastern Europe, South America, and South Africa, with the band performing to sell-out crowds in Russia and Ukraine. Andrew Thomas (born 14 December 1977) is an English football manager and former footballer. He is currently manager of Welsh Premier League club Airbus UK Broughton. Career Playing career Thomas was born in Chester, and began his career as a trainee with Wrexham, playing in the 1995-96 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup against FC Petrolul Ploieşti. He turned professional in August 1996, but failed to make any further first team appearances and was released in 1997. He joined Connah's Quay Nomads and began a lengthy career in Welsh football. He moved to Cwmbran Town in the 1999–2000 season, but played just twice before returning to Connah's Quay. In 2001, he joined Newtown, moving to Airbus UK Broughton in August 2003.
